WHY FAMILY MINISTRY?
Long before there was ever a church, there was the family. In it we see the hand of God showing us how He's designed us to relate to Him and to each other. In this family structure God has given parents the responsibility to model what it means to live on mission with Jesus and to teach their children how to do the same. Nobody else has the influence -- for good or bad -- in the life of a child more than their parents or guardians.
This is the BIG idea behind our family ministry. It isn't our desire to replace the family -- just to come alongside of it. We believe two influences working together will have greater impact than just two influences alone. Therefore all of the ministries we offer to children or students are designed to help them connect with Christ, their peers, trained adults who love them, and with the work God is doing in our world. We work to keep these ministries focused and simple, allowing time for children and parents to connect at home, and to also provide parents with the resources they need to pour into their child's development.
